The ever-reclusive Eric Nevin of One Art has posted some stunning photos of, all things, mushrooms. Simply beautiful.
Chicago Uncommon is a site with some beautiful photography of Chicago. You can even buy all the prints online. Dawn Mikulich, the talent behind the site, has also a personal site called A Life Uncommon with a very complete FAQ.
Another day, another set of photos. Today I added shots from our trip to Lake Placid. We were lucky and our trip happened to coincide with the World Championships for 4 man bobsledding and the Empire State Games (which are basically a New York State Olympics).
More of a blast from the past. I finally got around to posting images from my trip to Australia in March of 2002. Some good shots of the Opera House and the Sydney Harbor Bridge, among others.
I haven’t added any photos to my site in more than a year. Well, until now. I posted some photos from a trip to the Outer Banks in North Carolina that we took during the summer 2002. Jeni and I stumbled across a little fishing village called Wanchese on Manteo Island. Lots of old rusty pieces of metal and some very old boats.
After yesterday’s mis-launch of the new site, I’m back to blogger. In the mean time, here are some cool photos: Toilets and Eero Saarinen’s terminal at JFK Airport.
I finally got around to putting up photos from last summer’s visit to the Noguchi Museum. A friend of mine says that it is his favorite museum in NYC and I’m not sure I disagree with him.
Mental note: I need to get that Akari lamp that I’ve been meaning to get for ages.
My account of World Trade Center on September 11 is located here.
